Darla Paul

Hello!

My name is Darla Paul, and I’m an 8th grade math teacher with the 406 team.  I teach Algebra, Math 8 and math lab to students from all three of the 8th grade teams.   I’ve been teaching at CR Anderson since 2020 and have been a teacher since 1998. I began teaching in Montana in the towns of Poplar and Elliston before my husband joined the Air Force.  During his 20-year career as an Air Force pilot, I taught in Utah, Georgia, Arkansas, New Mexico, Florida, and Mississippi.  I’ve taught students in every grade level from kindergarten through twelfth.

I grew up in the small town of Rosebud, along the banks of the Yellowstone River in eastern Montana.  I then attended college at Montana State University, where I received my bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education K-8 with a mathematics option. Later, I completed my master’s degree in mathematics education through Lesley University.

When not at school, I can be found hanging out with my family.  We enjoy flying, hiking, and camping together usually with our rescue pups Mauser and JJ.  We love to visit state and national parks along with traveling to EAA’s AirVenture in Oshkosh, WI, in the summer.
