About me:

• I have been teaching professionally for 10 years. I taught 3^rd grade for 3 years at Helena Christian School, and 7 here at CR Anderson Middle School as a Math Recovery and SpEd Resource teacher. Before that, I homeschooled my kids elementary through high school, so I have been teaching a long time!
• I have been married for 32 years to my husband Josh who is the worship pastor at Hannaford Bible Church behind Wendy’s. I have 2 grown children and 5 grandkids with one more on the way!
• I love my summers off as it is a much-needed time for me to catch up at home. I love to garden. I picked 100 quarts of raspberries this summer and made jam, pies, and other desserts with them. I grew tomatoes, green beans, beets, and strawberries. This is how I “play” outside and I find it very therapeutic. I also camped and went on a trip to Canada to visit the sets of the series “Heartland” which is my favorite show. I got to take a 2 hour horse back ride a few miles down the road from the ranch where they film the show. I do not own a horse as I travel too much but in a “dream” world I would love to have one.
• I also have three dogs that are like children to me, 2 golden retrievers, and a chocolate lab.
• My goals for the year are to build good relationships with my students and help them succeed in learning. I also want to be as organized as possible and manage my time more efficiently.
