About the Music Teacher
Nicole Evans was born and raised in Billings, MT where she graduated from Skyview High School. She joined band in 5th grade, choosing the oboe, and never looked back. Nicole attended The University of Montana in Missoula where she earned degrees in Music Education and Music Performance in 2018 as well as an MA in Integrated Arts and Education in 2023. Nicole has lived in Helena since 2019 with her tiny kitty with a big personality – Poise. Nicole performs locally with the Helena Symphony Orchestra as well as teaching for Ironhorse Consortium for Young Musicians and Last Chance Music Camp outside of her work with Helena Public Schools
