Hello!
My name is Nicholas Johnson. I teach Algebra 1 and Math 8 to students across all three teams and have advisor with the Vigilante team. This is my first year working at CRA. Prior to this year, I worked as a long-term substitute at Warren Elementary teaching 3rd grade math. Prior to that I worked as a substitute teacher and a paraprofessional for five years with multiple districts in Yakima, WA.
I was born and raised in Wenatchee, WA, lived in Yakima, WA for seven years, then moved to Helena in February 2024. I graduated from Central Washington University in 2013 with a Bachelors degree in Criminal Justice. I spent 4 years pursuing a career in that field before deciding to pursue a different path. I went back to school in 2019 and earned a Bachelors degree in education with Western Governor’s University in November 2022.
When not working I enjoy spending time outdoors with my family and doing home improvement projects. My wife and I had twin daughters in November 2022. They are almost two years old now and definitely keep both of us on our toes. We are excited to be in the Helena area. My wife is excited to be back in Helena and I am excited to see what Helena has to offer!
