I am happy to teach PEAK because I love learning and witnessing my students discover the outside world and the world of ideas. I work with students in grades 8 through 12. This is my third year teaching in the PEAK GT Program. My teaching position is 40% FTE. I have been an educator for decades.  Before this, I taught high school art and photography, curated the education program at the Holter Museum of Art, and taught college art. I have a Master of Fine Arts degree from the University of Minnesota, a Master of Arts in Education from Northern Michigan University, and a Bachelor’s from Hiram College. My artwork takes many forms: photography, printmaking, sculpture, and writing. I believe that pairing socially relevant content with beautiful compositions contributes to a dynamic, evolving culture. I am a nature-lover, birdwatcher, hiker, camper, ukulele player, and a dog-lover.
