Kayla Lunnon
Welcome back to your 2020-2021 school year! It is bound to challenge us all, but, fortunately, we get to choose the attitude in which we approach this year. GO BENGALS!!
Please see the right hand links to weekly class agendas. Make sure to read the IMPORTANT INFORMATION.
A Few Notes:
- Get in the habit of checking our TEAMS page for messages, assignments and content. You will have a video, task and/or assignment EVERYDAY, even when you are remote.
- The new assignment schedule will be posted for each week on the right. REMEMBER: check ‘A’ Day Cohort Assignment Schedule if your last name falls between A-K and check the ‘B’ Day Cohort Assignment Schedule if your last name falls between L-Z.
- Mathematics is not a subject you can “cram” into one evening or day, it is about habitual practice. Doing a little bit every day is not only going to keep you on to of the work and ensure you do not get behind, but build your mathematical competency!
Please remember you can contact me (klunnon@helenaschools.org) or Mrs. Marks (mmarks@helenaschools.org) through email if you need any assistance with the digital learning environment.
Cannot wait to meet all of you, Mrs. Lunnon and Mrs. Marks

Grading:
There are three categories that will make up your quarter grades.
Classwork and Homework: 10%
Quizzes: 30%
Quizzes will be given throughout each unit.
Tests: 60%
Tests will be given at the end of each unit.
Students may retake any summative assessments (chapter tests) for full credit ONE TIME. Preparedness for the second, more rigorous, assessment will be at the teacher’s discretion and may include additional practice session(s) outside of class time. Re-takes must be taken outside of class and scheduled with the teacher and completed before the end of the semester. Re-take scores will replace the original test score.
Grading Scale: 90-100 = A, 80-89 = B, 70-79 = C, 60-69 = D, Below 60% = F
Semester grades will be made up of 40% from each quarter and 20% from a semester final.
Attendance:
Please be here and be on time when in person. The more time you spend in class the more I can teach you!
If you are learning virtually, please be sure to check in every day and complete the work. There will be something to work on every day.
