Hi my name is Ms. Sayler! I recently moved here from Fargo North Dakota where I attended North Dakota State University. I am super excited to be your student’s life science teacher. Growing up, I had so many positive experiences with nature and education that inspired me to become a teacher. I have a second degree in biology with an emphasis in ecology and conservation so I love bringing my knowledge from that into the classroom. When I am not in the classroom, you could possibly find me coaching the Helena High Bengalettes, hiking, baking, or working out.
In our life science class we learn about the microbiome, metabolism, traits and reproduction, populations and resources, matter and energy within a ecosystem, natural selection, and evolutionary history. We follow the Montana State Education Standards, and use the program Amplify in our teaching.
