Mike Kepler

Welcome to the 6th Grade Art Room!

My Name is Mike Kepler and I’m originally from Lewisburg, Pennsylvania.  I received my degree in Art Education K-12 from the Kutztown University of PA in 2001, and finished my Masters Degree in Educational Leadership from Montana State in the spring of 2014.  I’ve been educating students in the Visual Arts at Helena Middle School for the past 19 years, and have loved every moment of it!

I firmly believe that integrating Fine Arts education into the lives of our youth is essential in educating the “whole child.”  A comprehensive Art curriculum teaches our children Creativity, Confidence, Perseverance, Focus, and Creative Problem Solving.  Essential skills as we prepare our students to become career and college ready.
