I began my teaching career in 2004 within the Helena School District, where I have had the privilege of working with students across a range of grade levels. In 2018, I was honored to be named Montana Teacher of the Year, a distinction that allowed me to advocate for and represent the teaching profession statewide. Additionally, I am proud to be a recipient of the National Science Foundation’s Presidential Award for Excellence in Mathematics and Science Teaching (PAEMST), which recognized my contributions to education and my commitment to fostering student growth in mathematics and science.

I am excited to continue my journey at HMS, where I look forward to engaging and inspiring 8th-grade math students while fostering a positive and dynamic learning environment.
