I began my teaching career in 2004 with the Helena School District. In 2018, I was honored to be named Montana Teacher of the Year, serving as a spokesperson and advocate for the teaching profession across the state. I am also a recipient of the National Science Foundation’s “Presidential Award for Excellence in Mathematics and Science Teaching” (PAEMST), which recognized my accomplishments as a second-grade teacher, kindergarten teacher, fourth-grade teacher, and K-5 Instructional Mathematics Coach.
