The first and third graders did a great job on their Valentine’s Day Concert! If you missed it, or want to relive the excitement, you can do so here!

Have you ever wanted to compose your own music, but didn’t know where to start? Try starting right here! The Google Doodle on March 21, 2019 was in celebration of Johann Sebastian Bach’s birthday. Bach (1685-1750) is one of the most prolific composers of the Baroque era and his music continues to thrive hundreds of years after his death. Google made a composition tool that allows the user to compose their own melody. Then, the computer analyzes the melody, compares it with hundreds of Bach’s compositions, and harmonizes it the way that Bach himself might have! Be sure to check it out.

The Rossiter 4th and 5th graders have made excellent progress on their recorders skills since the start of the new year! For students with recorders at home who would like to do extra practicing, I am posting the orange/yellow/green group recorder music. You can find it below or download it from the links on the right side of this page.

Congratulations to our fifth graders on an excellent Winter Jubilee! On December 4th, the Rossiter fifth graders performed a fun, exciting, brand new concert filled with singing, xylophone playing, and drumming. If you missed it, or want to relive it, here is the video:
