¡Bienvenidos! Welcome! Thank you for taking the time to visit my teacher web page. I am one of Helena High School´s three Spanish teachers, and count myself incredibly lucky to combine two of my passions each day in the classroom – Spanish and working with students. Though the year ahead is filled with uncertainty, I am no less excited about learning Spanish together. We will navigate the upcoming school year the best we can, advancing our Spanish skills and having grace for ourselves and each other in the process. Mistakes are more than OK in this classroom, and a natural part of learning. Students, please know I am here to support you in both your Spanish communication endeavors and your time at school, whether digitally or in person. It´s going to be a great year, and I´m looking forward to sharing it with you!
IMPORTANT LOGISTICS (for parents and students)!
1. My weekly agenda will be posted on TEAMS no later than Monday at 8:00am.
2. If you are absent from school and need to make-up work, TEAMS is the first place to begin to find content and assignments. If you have further questions, please just contact me or visit my classroom.
3. Please allow 24 business hours (Monday through Friday) for an email response. Though I will try to respond as quickly as possible, with this year’s hybrid learning schedule, immediate response will not always be possible.
