Tyler Hollow

Welcome to Mr. Tyler Hollow’s class!

I am very excited for my eleventh year at Helena High School. I really enjoy the students at Helena Highand appreciate their willingness to work hard and be involved. I grew up in Helena then went off to college at Seattle Pacific University for my first year. I completed my undergraduate degree at College of Idaho where I earned a Biology degree with a Natural Science Teaching Minor. After graduation, I worked professionally in the northwest as a Fish Technician, Wolf Biologist, a wildlife guide, and as an environmental consultant. Additionally, I have taught High School Science at Meridian, Idaho and Victor, Montana. I recently graduated with a Masters in Science Teaching from Montana State University in 2018.

I teach Biology, Biomed 4, and AP Research. Biomed 4 is an upper level research class in the Health Career Pathway while AP Research is an elective credit and one of two classes in the AP Capstone. I am passionate about science and research, and excited to work with students in Science Technology Engineering and Math (STEM) fields.

Outside of the classroom I have many passions and hobbies. My wife and I have two children and we love to explore the world. I enjoy the outdoors through trailrunning, river rafting, biking and all types of skiing. I am also an assistant coach with HHS Boys’ Soccer program.
